Ban Mittal is a social scientist with a Ph.D. in consumer psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. He has been a professor of marketing at SUNY (Buffalo), University of Miami (FL), UNSW(Australia), and at Northern Kentucky University, where he currently teaches marketing and consumer behavior and researches how humans pursue happiness in the world of goods .
He is a coauthor of ValueSpace (2001) and Consumer Psychology: A Modernistic Explanation (2021), and author of 50 Faces of Happy (2020), and My Uber Story (2020). He lives in Cincinnati, Ohio.Write to Author
